Alexander 107 full double descant horn in gold brass |

This is a very fine instrument which plays unusually well - unusually well even for an Alexander. It's in very good condition generally but it has had a rather crude modification: the valve levers have been 'trimmed' and coins have been added. Nothing wrong with the coins - this is a common modification - but there really was no need to trim the levers! We will be re-positioning the coins and tidying this job up; or, at modest extra cost, we can replace the levers with new ones. This apart, this is a wonderful horn: it's been made in unlacquered gold brass and has a screw bell. Valve compression is awesome, the slides are all airtight and it plays like a dream. £POA
