 These wonderful 'student' horns are fully capable of professional use. Basically, the Series II is a Model 20 'engine' (everything but the bell) with a sheet metal bell, as opposed to a hand-hammered one. This is a huge cost saving, and so enabled Paxman to launch this model as an inexpensive introduction to the Paxman range, back in the 1970s. They are extremely well-made instruments and amongst the very best 'student' horns available anywhere. Incredible value for money.
