You don't often come across these: this is an Alexander Model 102 F/Bb compensator from around 1970 (I'm guessing). It's a pre-bell plaque model - and many players prefer these older instruments, feeling that they're sweeter playing - and it's in great condition playing-wise. However, as you can see from the pic, it is slightly cosmetically challenged. But this is superficial stuff only - the fabric of the instrument is perfectly intact.

It plays really nicely - with a warmer than usual sound for an Alex - and of course it's beautifully lightweight.
