 This is another one of these highly soughty-after 'pre-model number' Paxmans. Made in the 1970s, 100% by hand, these are the finest Paxman horns on the planet, better even than a brand new instrument. They're over-engineered, bench-made by craftsmen and they play just superbly.

This one is in excellent condition, with just a few superficial blemishes; it's made in nickel-silver, much of its lacquer is intact and it's got a screw bell-flare. The bell is Paxman's extra-large - slightly larger than the New World bell which replaced it - and the horn is equipped with a double stopping valve.
