We're all familiar with these - the 8D is the best-selling horn of all time.  This is another, lovely-playing Elkhart specimen in generally excellent condition.  It's an H Series, so it dates from circa 1967.  It does have 3 small patches on the bell flare but, that apart, it's pretty much original.  Of course, it plays just beautifully - as you'd expect - and makes that wonderful 'Hollywood' sound you either love or hate...
