It's lacquered (and the lacquer is maybe 95+% intact - very good indeed) and it's in excellent condition throughout with just a couple of tiny (and I do mean TINY) superficial blemishes.The bell is a medium-large - in true Geyer tradition - and very similar to Paxman's hugely successful and highly sought-after Europa bell. So it makes a classic Chicago sound: bright, perky, fizzy yet warm and noble. It plays beautifully. This is a lovely, inexpensive professional horn ideally suited to a young professional player or advanced student or amateur. £POA |
