It's in unlacquered yellow brass with a fixed bell and comes in a hard, shaped case. Both horn and case are in excellent condition.Playing-wise, this horn is a joy: the bell is large - which one rarely comes across on a single Bb horn - and so the horn makes a warm, mellow sound; the valves are tight (so the high register is great) and the instrument responds very quickly, so one can whizz around on it easily. It's got a lovely legato facility and plays really very well indeed throughout all registers. £POA
