This is a really nice horn. The workmanship is awesome and it plays superbly. These early Hoyers are 100% professional quality horns and every bit as good as many a Paxman or Alexander. This particular horn has a lovely, warm sound, very fluid legato facility, an excellent high range and a fat, meaty low register. All mechanical action and fixed bell, made in unlacquered yellow brass. And it doesn't cost a fortune...
